Origin of Angels

Angels have been around forever. They are Beings of Light. And the most important thing that we must realize about them is that they are employed by God. Yes my friends, angels work for God in many capacities to maintain the loving order of the universe.

Please don't be taken back by the word God. It is my intention for this word to mean a higher being than ourselves. You may substitute any word that makes you comfortable. I personally like the phrase coined by Richard Bach in Illusions, The All That Is.

The important thing to remember is that angels belong to a loving higher order. They work and play very diligently to maintain this order with an outrageous sense of humor.

Where and when angels originated has never been agreed upon by scholars throughout the ages. The fact is that they have been around since humanity has been aware of spiritual things. In all cultures throughout history.

They have been mentioned in recorded history as far back as three thousand years before Christ. Any more than this about angels in the past is beyond me.

I have never been a fond admirer of ancient history and will not start getting interested in it now. Angels in our present lifetime is of extreme interest to me I will continue to search all I can and share what I find with anyone who is interested.

It appears that since the dawn of creation, angels have been happily working with man in an atmosphere of peace, love, joy and happiness.

We have always accepted their existence and held them in the highest regards. Now as we come close to the dawning of the 21st Century, the angels are taking a more active part in our lives and we, humanity as a whole, are more aware of our partnership with them than ever before in time.
